With only having been a few days into Fall of 2025, we had a very bright and hot Fall day that I got to capture on Kentmere 200 35mm film pushed 1 stop. I’ve shot several black and white films, including a summer wedding on Kodak Tri-X 400 and several rolls of Ilford HP5 400. This hot fall day I’m referencing was my first time shooting Kentmere 200 and the vibes of this day that I captured are giving Olivia Dean’s ‘The Art of Loving’ album. Can’t help but hum Man I Need while I look at these pictures in which I’m very proud of.
I love the contrast when pushing Kentmere 200. Plus the high UV index of this day was an additional layer of natural contrast. I could not recommend more using this film on bright days. It hasn’t let me down yet. Check out my favorite photos I captured with my Canon AE-1 Program on Kentmere 200 on this day:
I hope to always find happiness in romanticizing my simplest of days with 35mm film for the rest of my life.
xoxo,
Austin
